Alpine BSA Camp

The Alpine BSA Camp Grounds is owned by the NYC Council. It is located in Alpine, NJ, about 9 miles north of the George Washington bridge. The camp is on the Palisade’s cliff overlooking the Hudson river.

The Alpine website contains alot of useful information.

When making reservations, the Delaware Area camp is the preferred site. We like to have two campsites within the Delaware Area so we have the space necessary for the Troop.

Activities:

  • There are 2 key activities at Alpine that we like: 7 mile hike on the Palisades and the 40′ Climbing Wall.
